Before I start I'll mention it's my opinion!

Thoughts on today .

McKay played the best he's played in a long time .

Miller done his usual and ran his heart out .

Hill was solid at the back .

Fod ( can't believe I'm saying this as I've gave him a hard time in the past ) saved us on a few occasions .

Now the not so good .

Halliday hasn't kicked a ball for weeks and weeks but is loved because of his previous badge kissing exploits . Crooks must be fit and worth a punt at centre mid .

Centre halves get criticised because our right back doesn't track back and can't put a decent tackle in hence they get pulled out of position and get made to look like it's their fault ( today I lost count how many times Kiernan came up against Sinclair because Tav was pulled out of position and can't/ won't track back ) .

Midfield is light and people that follow us on a weekly basis can see this and against them this is always where the game is won! Broony yellow carded early on when we were on top so why was nobody hounding him during the game as we all know he's got a short fuse and maybe another silly challenge and he would have went!

Upfront I didn't even know Waggy came on he was that ineffective!

We have came on this year but we can all see the gulf we have bridge before we can even attempt to mention us as title contenders!

MW goes on about it's a great squad but tirelessly picks the same few that should maybe sit their arses on the bench for a few weeks or even maybe no have the jersey on again ( I'll let you make that decision about who yourselves ) !

I hear everyone talking about loan signings but what we need is a few decent in on permanent contracts ( if King is true to his word that there will be signings ) as these people need to be ready for season start!

All in all it's an improvement slowly it's an improvement but we all know some fans want instant success at our great club but after the five years we've had I think in general we are going the right way!

Now everyone have an safe night and I wish you all the best for 2017 and let's see what the future holds!

Agree with most of what u say mate apart from the improvement part. There been no improvement this year at all in my opinion.

When he dropped McKay it gave him the kick up the arse to go and produce the kind of performance today I think you have a good point on dropping a few to see the reaction.

I agree Stewarty, take Sinclair and Dembele out and you might have had a chance against nine men! LOL.

The worrying thing for me is that even if we had Dembele and Sinclair in our Ranks I am not convinced that we would have won that game today. Certainly Sinclair on one flank and McKay on the other would have been an improvement but our midfield did not function and our defence had no protection. We would still have been three or four players short of a quality side!

Got to agree, we nd Rossiter to b fit to b our digger and hopefully the boy jota can b the link between mid and attack. then that just leaves us a back 4 to get😂.
