Bit long winded and i apologise bit bear with me. As much as I am so very frustrated with Warbs and Weir right now and still not quite over that abysmal performance on Wednesday (it has actually affected me worse than 5-1 pummelling we got off the manky mob across the city because Hearts is a team we absolutely should be beating in our quest for Europe) . I can't help but dwell on the ifs and buts that have plagued our season. Rossiter has been out for practically the entire season but would undoubtedly have Hallidays spot in the starting 11 cemented down in a major problem area for us. That in turn would have resulted in fewer goals conceded on a weekly basis. Then at the other end I can't help but think what a disaster it was losing kranjcar do early in the season. I truly believe he could have been the creative catalyst we have been sorely missing. The lads got bags of talent and was just starting to show what he was capable of when he got injured. But I really believe he could have created bags of goals for us had he stayed fit. Oh well ifs and buts like I say but them two players are the exact two we need to secure our euro spot. I hope Hyndman can continue as I think he looks like a decent talent. And I wish dodoo would get a game instead of waghorn. He's scored more goals in half the starts of the rest of strikers bar miller. Wish he'd get a run. I'm praying for a good result against county so I can finally put Wednesdays gutless performance firmly behind me.

Good post LVB. It is painful to say but too many on here with blue tinted specs finding it difficult to deal with the reality of the last 5 years and our current constraints off and on the pitch. We need now to get real and get right behind the team and manager. The difficulties we are facing now will make our ultimate triumphs all the sweeter and reason for satisfaction. That is how we do things.

Now let's go on a league and cup run.

Yip well said guys.

Getting hammered like we did on Wednesday wasn't easy for any of us to take but I still don't see why we shouldn't judge Warburton in May.

All this talk of sacking them and replacing them with McCleish and Rae. it's embarrassing

Hooray, first time ever i agree with all of the posts. Sensible fans for once. It was always going to be a tough struggle of a season especially with the changes celtic made in the summer. He has brought in over 20 players and there is always 1 in 3 or 4 signings that just doesn't work out at any team. With our financial position it makes it very difficult to replace these guys which just puts more and more pressure on each signing. I will accept 2nd regardless of the performances and results to get there as this is our transition season

Can I just ask the pro Warburton brigade a few questions

Is it acceptable to continually play players like Tavernier, Kiernan and Halliday who make the same mistakes week in week out?

Is it acceptable that we have conceded 25 goals in 23 league games?

Is it acceptable that we have only scored 31 goals in 23 games?

Are you happy that our best striker is 37 and our best defender is 38?

Is it acceptable that Warburton has lost all 8 away games to the better teams in the league both this season and last season?

Is it acceptable to be 25 points behind Celtic having been hammered at Celtic park and beaten another 2 times already this season

I just find it sad that you seem to accept all this and think Warburton is still the man for the job.

Stewie for me its not just a case of sticking with Warbs because he is the man for the job BUT we are not in a position financially to be paying off managers and assistants to bring in someone who we would be gambling on anyways as we cannot afford a top tier manager. Who can we bring in? Warbs done well when he came in but this season and prob the tail end of last not so well. The only name that I would say comes close to a top manager is DeBoer but again what's the cost? The thing that reAlly annoys me about Warbs is his reluctance to drop certain players his formations AND this decision to sub players that he has apparently decided before the game. I really do think that a lot of our players will come onto a game nxt season after a whole season bedding in, I've got a feelin that King Maurice have lost faith and get someone else in anyways but this decision is a bi#*h financially and at end of day 2nd was our goal. Hope we can go on a really good Cup run the only possible chance of winning it is if the tic really mess up and get dumped out but that's too much to ask although they do seem to mess the treble up a lot so fingers crossed

We can't compare ourselves this season to any other time in our history. So asking what is and isn't acceptable during the season while we are in 2nd place in the league, still in the scottish cup and were only knocked out of the league cup by u know who.
So u all come on hear either wanting us to spend millions that we don't have or sack our management team and replace them with footballing dinosaurs like Butcher, MCleish, Davies for some supposed short term fix.
Sure defeats are hard to take and as supporters of this great club we are not used to them but this is the reality of where we are.
As I have repeatedly said, IF we don't finish in second place then I'd say maybe a change is required but even then not for any of the names u all spout

Warburton is no part of the solution, he is the problem!
Not just incompetent but stubborn beyond belief,
Stating that Hyndman and Toral will be played on the basis of the interests of their parent clubs was his resignation letter! When you play for Glasgow Rangers your only interest is that of Glasgow Rangers!

Couldn't agree more mate got him to come out and say that after the game was insulting to ever single Gers fan. We pay our money to follow our team not be a feeder club for others. I'm also amazed that the pro Warburton brigade bought this and still think he can do a job

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard a Rangers manager say he was taking off a player because it was in bournmouths best interest, the reason I've turned on warburton is his constant refusal to drop certain players, I mean cmon for 2 years everybody has seen our defence is shocking yet he still hasn't fixed it, enough is enough, he must see what we all see or he shouldn't be there, simple as that, btw I've been one of his biggest fans, but I can't keep defending him when he keeps doing the same things that don't work, instead of doing the same things why not try something different, play different players, diff formations, then we could all see at least he's tried all this, but no he keeps doing the same things every other week, with the same result
