I think we should enquire about James mcarthur. He has a year left at palace, he is 30 in October but has lost his starting place and I'm sure he will be wanting to play as much as possible and after a few years of good cash in England he may take a cut to play for his boyhood club what anyone else think.

Since Palace have secured position in EPL for next season, there is little or no chance of McArthur coming back over the border as much as he would be a standout in midfield lacking any bite whatsoever

But the fact they are staying up they will have a good budget to improve their squad so if he is only getting used as a sub now what chance does he have when they add to the squad

I would like to agree with you Gary, however Palace are at the wrong end of EPL to significantly improve squad, also as always money talks and with at his age a nice salary is a luxury Campionship or other EPL teams can offer

Good shout but I don't see us having the money to bring him back from Palace or the money to pay his wages. Perhaps I am wrong but I doubt it!

He is on £40k and has been for a few years so I don't think he'd need to send his missus down to the food banks if he came to us and took a cut and to some they may have a professional bucket list to do before their careers are over league winners medals cup medals and playing for the teams they grow up supporting and as Shite as we've been we have more chance of winning things than palace
