I think most of us need to get a grip. This comp has come far too early for a team that has had so many changes.

We can not afford to start sacking managers who are in their managerial infancy with the club. It's time for calmness.

Now we focus on the season ahead and that's all. We would have been lucky to get past the next team on that current form.

There are a couple of good, good players now at the club. Jack looks great, Cardoso is very composed and Niko will be a sound. We have to accept that these players alone show progress. The rebuilding job is a long long process with lots of hard losses ahead. So dig deep suck it up and stay strong.

I'm sick of hearing excuses. It doesn't matter how early the game came for us, or how it's a new team. The fact is we were soundly beaten by a bunch of part-timers. That is inexcusable! We can't even consider ourselves unlucky because Progess deserved their win.

The result was bad but what worries me more is the clueless look through the team. I thought we looked the same last year but gave the benefit of the doubt as not his players. While he needs to be given time that won't wash now. At all. He has been backed and nearly all his targets signed. Time to start doing the talking on the pitch. I don't want to hear anymore statements from Pedro and King as all they have done is made us look even stupider. Heads down for the next 4 weeks and hopefully see some huge improvement!
