It's just my opinion and I know I'll get shot down for it but I'm still suspect about big Wes. Yes he made a great save towards the end and has made some good saves throughout his time at the club but modern day goalkeeping is a lot more than just shot stopping. I think his commanding of his area especially the 6 yard box is poor - example see yesterdays goal and his positional sense at times isn't poor - see both semi final goals against Celtic. Don't know anything about Alnwick as a keeper but I think a new keeper should be considered, at the right price obviously.

The cross from Motherwell is one of the best you'll find this season. Not many Goalkeeper would have came from that cross it would be way to risky. If its anyones fault its hodson's he let heneghen get in-between him and cardoso.

On a side note i thought Wes came out for more crosses and looked more comfortable than he did all last season.

I agree with James, although Wes played well last season, his command of his box is poor he won't leave his line for anything, maybe some coaching in this area would help him, it would make him a better keeper, great save at the end though

he looks suspect and when u have the fear every time the ball comes in the box u know u need a better keeper

@callamR. Nonsense mate, any decent keeper would have came out for that cross, if wes comes out and punches they don't score, great shot stopper but really needs to command his area a lot more.
