I recon that murty will play this one with caution in mind if john or wallace make it he will definitely drop murphy to the bench and play 3 in the central mid prob halli goss doch. I think brenda will be expecting use to play with 2 wingers and set his team up against it so hopefully murty will pull a wee surprise for him.

He’ll drop Murphy? Don’t see that mate unless he’s still injured but if fit he’s 100 % in the starting 11. he won’t play Windass on the left had the chance against Falkirk and played Cummings who has never played there before

How does saying that brenda will be expecting 2 wingers and set up his team to counter it make me not a rangers fan just check my profile prev post etc mate. I would love murty to play murphy and candy but just don't see him being that gun ho against that mob but time will tell mate.

I will post on here personally, once i come home from ibrox, after sunday's old firm game, congratulating you, if what you're saying regarding murty dropping murphy, happens mate! Hand on heart i honestly don't see that happening in a month of sunday's my friend! If jamie murphy is fit, HE PLAYS, simple as that mate! Murphy is capable of giving that celtic defence, an absolute torrid time!

Totally agree Super if Murphy is fit he plays, if Murty is going to play one more in midfield it will be Windass who misses out as Murphy and Candy give width and balance to the team. In my opinion I would play all three and get in about them, if it’s not working and they have an extra man in midfield it can be easily changed

UK. I understand what you’re saying and I think it’s a sensible point, and GM’s will be accused of being inexperienced and naive if we lose by 2 or 3 (which we won’t! We’ll win 3-0).

However Murphy must play if fit, not just because he could Decide the game on his own. but approaching a game with ‘caution’ is not the MINDSET (GM’s word he keeps using) wants the players to have. He wants the players to believe they can be ‘ruthless’ and beat anyone. He’ll want them to respect the opponent but trust in what we’ve been doing so well recently.

We’ve been doing the same things in order to get better at doing those things. now he’s going to say, “let’s be cautions and defend”? . I just feel it would be mixed messages whilst playing into their hands. (Let’s not forget they couldn’t handle Hearts high press too)
