Speaking to a Leicester City supporting friend yesterday - lives in Scotland but from Leicester and travels down maybe half a dozen times a season.

I asked him if Benkovic is a tasty player. He looked at me, puzzled.

Not only had he never seen him play (obviously, as he's not kicked a ball for them) but he had never heard of him.

Has this anything to do with Rangers as I've never heard of Benkovic?

{Ed001's Note - he is very highly rated, Celtic tried to sign him but he chose to go to Leicester, but I think they just signed him on loan anyway. That's if I am remembering correctly, there were a lot of moves to keep track of on deadline day!}

Probably says more about your mate as a Leicester fan than it does benkovic that he doesn't know of a player his team supposedly paid £13m for regardless if he's rubbish or not.
