See papers reporting that an unnamed English team are going to be tabling a 7M+ bid for Tav.

What’s people’s opinion on this.?

Personally think he isn’t Rangers captain material and we could do a lot with 7M if it was to go back into strengthening the team.

If true i'd take 7 million for him only if we could get a replacement straight away.

We’ve got one. John Flanigan, he’s a better defender than Tav in my opinion.

Personally I thing SG has forgotten more about football than most of us will ever know.

He made Tav Captain, he picks him every week and he raves about him.

It would be really good if you eager beaver Fifa experts screwed the nut and got behind him - unless of course one of you is Alex Ferguson.

I agree with you, DK18!Sick and tired of continually hearing this witch-hunt against our captain james tavernier! There's an old saying ie. "You don't miss water until the well runs dry"! That would most definitely apply if we sold tav! Don't care what anyone says, when tav's not playing, we're nowhere near as good on our right side! Get behind our captain, instead of badgering him continually! He's a superb player and steven gerrard thinks so also! I hope he isn't sold!

Sell him. Supercoop, the sage of the forum. Not!

Supercoop don’t worry Tav is going no where this window unless receive offer of £15m.

I'm not a Tav basher but I think 7mil would be great business.

Would definitely sell him . I'm not his biggest fan. He's had a handful of decent games and a couple of outstanding games . Defensively he's a liability, the amount of goals we've conceded because at certain points he's been the furthest man forward is worrying . I've never rated him as a captain just doesn't do it for me . I respect other bears opinions though on wanting to keep him . Just need to see what happens.

Coop, Tav is a great player but would accept £7million!

No1 said we aren't behind him but if someone came in with 7 mill it would be hard to turn down.

Just hope whoever is biding 7 mil hasn’t seen him taking a corner 😳.

Kenny
I was told by an ex player previously it was Wigan but he said yesterday he had been told Bournemouth were now favourites.

There is no way we could turn down £7m for him.

I'd take 7mil for tav. Ok flanagan doesn't have the attacking threat that tav does but on the other hand tav doesn't have the defensive capabilities that flanagan has. I don't think we would be weaker as a team if tav left and flanagan stepped in. I think 7mil would be good business. Having said that, I don't want to lose anyone just now. I'd rather we add quality to what we have (which we have already) and really make a push for the title. 👍.

Tav is Rangers thru and thru and we would sorely miss him and his energy. Flanagan not even close to his calibre. We need him to stay if we want the title this year. However if he wants to move and he can earn more for his family and we get a windfall then good luck to him. Too many Bears are down on Tav and I don't understand it and those same Bears don't deserve him.
