Does any other bear agree that going forward
kilmarnock striker eammon brophy would be a good signing for us? He's a completely different kind of striker, to what we currently have at ibrox and big brophy is as strong as a bull! He's capable of giving centre halfs a torrid time. He absolutely rag dolled joe worrall last night. Everytime i've seen brophy playing, he's looked a handful and really good! He's your typical old fashioned type of centre forward!

Worrall is awful so it’s hard to make a judgement on how good he is.

Not good enough for us so it’s a no thanks for me and anyone could’ve ran Worrell ragged last night and most games he plays.

I wouldn't say he's different coops, I think he's similar to morelos the way he pulls defenders out of areas, he can hold it up and go in behind the boys quick. I've actually thought of posting the same I was really impressed with him last night.

Jboy21,why the continual sarcasm all the time pal, from you and a good few others? Its an opinion i'm stating that brophy has looked very decent, everytime i've watched him! Why do you not say not for me or something to that nature, instead of trying to question and have a go at a fellow bear continually?

The only reason i mentioned eammon brophy, was because i think we need a different kind of striker, ie. the old fashioned mark hateley, duncan ferguson type, who are terrific in the air. I did post on here weeks ago now, that if big andy carroll was fit and over all his injury problems, he would be a superb signing for us. It would give us so much variation, depending on how a game was going for us, during it!
It gives you the option if you're chasing a game with little time left, you then have a route 1 option,
with a big, imposing, physical presence, in someone like andy carroll! He's unbeatable in the air! I know he's out of contract at west ham in the summer and still only 30.

Carolls wage demands would be way out of our league.

Super cooper Ignore all those people with their sarcastic comments, everyone is entitled to their opinion and you often raise some interesting points for debate.

I agree Brophy did well the other night although until Worrells howler he hadn’t had a look in and worrell was comfortable. The mistake and the goal seemed to galvanise the whole Kili team and our defence looked a bag of nerves for the rest of the game.

I haven’t seen enough of Brophy to know if he would be a good signing for us.

I personally think the days of the big striker like Hatley, Ferguson and Carroll as you mention are a dying bread. Most teams play one up and they tend to be a smaller striker or one who can do multiple roles, think Aquero, Kane, Rashford etc.

Ive posted a few times regarding a good mark hately tyoe of striker. I honestly thought kyly lafferty was going to be like it but oh he has proved me wrong time and time again. This is my point exactly folks! A good strong target man who can head the ball down for dafoe and morelos.

Why have we got to sign every player who has a good game against us? It could be because our defence was so poor that this Killie lad looked good. Barring injuries, this team looks solid:

McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Barisic; McCrorie, Jack, Davis, Kent; Morelos, Defoe

Surely that XI would be good enough to win most games? If Dorrans is fit any time soon, then I'd put him in the team as he can grab goals from midfield.
