Ed could you create a wee poll:

Docherty or Davis,

Hardie or Defoe,

Simple poll to see who fans would rather have in squad. Personally I would have Docherty and Hardie. I have always liked Davis and Defoe but not sure if they improve the squad.

Defoe 2 starts and struggled big-time both games so would have went with hardy.

Davis is very neat and tidy and that is due to age and experience. However Defoe has, so far, failed to live up to expectations but i personally have doubts Hardie can do any better due to Jermaines experience.

I’m sorry bathgate bear but I’ve got to laugh at that post. Defoe has failed to live up to expectations? He’s played 2 games! And scored in one of them.

Davis miles better than Docherty. Watch a rerun of Wednesday night. The range of passes, the intelligent runs, should have had a penalty. Brings others into the game.
Docherty is a decent player but still learning. Time is on his side.
