i hope we've got a scout in poland for the under 20 world cup, there will be a few gems there.

We won't have because that's not the way it works. Various scouting agencies do the original groundwork then, if we want an individual player scouted, one of our scouts will do that. It moves from general to specific before a club gets involved in expensive scouting missions, except if you are one of the billionaire clubs.

Surely if rangers want to send a scout though for general purposes then they are quite within their rights to do so?!

if they are playing in U20 in Poland I guess they are well known to most clubs in Europe.

Orange tinted, I didn't say we weren't. I merely pointed out that it doesn't normally work that way, as 'general' scouting trips usually achieve little and are expensive. Clubs usually scout specific targets, not whole competitions. That's Football Manager stuff.
