This has been discussed on here umpteen times! The guys a mess, he is in complete meltdown!
I hate to say it but I honestly doubt anyone can save him!
His demons are clearly winning!

Such a shame.

Paul gascoigne is a big hero of mine and the greatest rangers midfielder ever, imo. Its so heartbreaking to watch gazza as the guy has serious issues ie. mental health problems,
which at anytime in life, can happen to any of us. He didn't ask to become an alcoholic, circumstances dictated that! Met him a good few times and he's a crackin'guy with a working class heart of gold. God bless the geordie genius. Hope he can again somehow control his demons to an extent, because unfortunately he can never be totally cured of his ills.
World class footballer with a god given natural talent. Underneath all his issues he's a smashing down to earth guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you gazza, just like every other bear. We're rooting for you pal. Always will be a massive part of the glasgow rangers family.

I hope he gets help soon before it's too late. Unfortunately some people are unhelpable. Great memories of his time at Rangers without doubt one of the best midfielders Britain has ever produced.

Sad to see but half the Scottish population are steaming drunk in public every now and then. Can you imagine the press following us around? Oooooft.

I had an uncle who was exactly the same as gazza, couldn't function without drink. Unfortunately I think gazza is beyond help. Terrible shame👍.

It’s horrible to see but from Personel experience there is always hope for him.
My old man was in that state if not worse and he managed to turn it around and is now over 20 years sober.
He swears by AA - says nothing else worked for him until he fully embraced AA
I hope he manages to turn things around for himself - hard to watch.

Unfortunately Gazza like Georgie Best didn’t know what do when football was finished and turned to alcohol cause they couldn, t cope without the high, s in their careers. Both were world class players from working class backgrounds and didn, t know how to cope without the stardom and normal life after football. Gazza needs help from friends and a good women to hopefully help him stop turning to the bottle. But the only person who can resolve the terrible state he, s in is Gazza himself. Georgie Best received a lot of help but he still died very young and it hurts me very much that our great Gazza will go the same way. Slim Jim was the same he turned to the bottle cause he couldn, t cope with falling into a big hole after his football career was gone.
Something needs to be done cause we’re about to lose the 3 best players that graced football to Drink!

MunBears, sorry, but that's just nonsense. Best, Gascoigne and Baxter were all heavy drinkers during their careers, not just after they had finished. Gazza has had a great deal of help from friends, as did the other two, but they were (are) all alcoholics who couldn't stop drinking. It was nothing to do with their retirement from the game, they all suffered from this disease long before that.
