I would go for Kelly, not sure he would be happy as number 2 but I think he would be an ideal replacement in a year or two for mcgregor👍.

I thought he left to get game time? He won’t come back to sit on the bench. I agree he’s be a great replacement when McGregor hangs up the gloves though.

Has he not paid his buyout and agreed to join QPR next season?

Said a good few times on here that undoubtedly liam kelly was the outstanding choice goalkeeper, to eventually replace the superb allan mcgregor. I know he left us to get first team football, but if there's anyway at all to bring him back, then we must do. He's a terrific young keeper, who in time could become as good as allan mcgregor was/ is for us. Both their start of their careers at rangers are pretty similar.

If we could sign him and loan him out for a year till McGregor retires that would be a good solution. We have wes and alnwick to choose from as deputy to McGregor so I hope this is a possibility. Of course we have high hopes for McCrorie so we'll have to see.

Kelly is now a first choice goalkeeper elsewhere and he is not going to come back to sit on the bench. Also he was allowed to go because every goalkeeping coach and the other staff believed that McCrorie is the better of the two. Kelly certainly is not the 'outstanding choice; terrific keeper' - hysterical swooning nonsense - who will replace McGregor. I also believe he somewhat soured himself with fans after his wee Progres outburst.

Apparently Warburton is signing him for QPR.
