Morelos sold for a tasty fee, all fringe players sold or moved out on loan or mutual terminations, Kent bought, Skertal and Sturridge on FREE transfer Job done. if Carlsberg did transfer windows.

I'd keep Morelos before I signed sturridge.

Sturridge can't replace Morelos. He has been hampered with injuries and for that reason is a greater liability than Morelos imo.

Dont see the need for another senior centre half, particularly Skrtel who would demand a hefty wage. Goldson and Katic have to be our first choice pairing at centre half and the biy Edmundson is there for cover. McCrorie can play centre half too if needed in a crisis.

Kent is a must and although it looks like the only option for us is another loan, if we do get a large fee for Morelos I'd re invest it in Kent on a permanent deal and Defoe can be our main man next season. Would Gerrard be comfortable with Defoe and Stewart as our main striking options with Rudden, Hardie and Dallas there too? he's spoke about the boys from the academy being in contention for a first team push so maybe this season we will see some youngsters given the chance.

I wouldn’t want Alfredo to leave but think we play better as a team with Defoe leading the line. We won 8 games in a row when Alfredo was suspended for 3 games then a further 3 games but still missed the next 2 due to teams form.
The money raised to be spent on a permanent deal for Kent.
Sturridge remained injury free all of last season and as an impact striker from the bench would be great.

Stewart can do a job there aswell as covering Arfield in the 10 role.
We need 4 CB’s yes I agree Katic and Goldson were best pairing last season but if 1 or both get injured we can’t rely on Edmundson and McCrorie to fill in for games in Europe, or away to Hibs, Hearts, Celtic or Aberdeen etc. They might be good enough but McCrorie is a CM now and having only 1 natural CB as cover is too risky.

Hardie off to Blackpool, rudden no where near good enough. What is it with folk harping on about youth all the time. If there good enough they will play. The ones you mentioned are not!

If carlsberg done transfer windows there is no way i would be wasting 10mill plus on kent. he's just not worth the money.

Sturridge is a no go! The injuries are all trivial he has and puts him out for months at a time and not many clubs will be in for him!

We will sign another CH and as for rudden and dallas as cover, sorry but they are not ready yet, would love to be wrong but they haven't had a sniff of the first team yet. Not keen on Sturridge tbh, bags of ability but hasn't had a good run of games since Brendan left liverpool.
