I see that Ojo (not even our player) has started the"best team in the league" nonsense before the season has even started. Look I'm all for confidence but why can't players stay quiet unless and until they have good reason to start crowing. No doubt I will get criticised as being negative but I think it leaves us open to ridicule until we prove it on the field.

Spot on Livi we've seen it too many times, not just from our team tho.

It's customary at this point, it happens every year, the year we're quiet and not spouting will be the year we are amazing.

i have no issue with anyone having their say but players need to do their talking on the pitch

this kind of statement can be made after the lads played a blinder all season scored dble figures and won us title

then have your say.

Would you rather he stated we are second best?

He is right though. Just sayin.

kfraser you are missing the point. If you start making statements like that even before the season starts you can end up with your foot firmly in your mouth. Win the league next season and by all means rub it into them then. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FAMOUS.

i'd rather he kept his moo shut. quiet confidence is the way. prove that on pitch for the season then open up.

Liverpool. Well said. Much better to keep our powder dry and go quietly and confidently about our business. Start crowing when we've won a trophy again!

He should wait until he puts in a decent performance before opening his mouth👍.

it depends though. If he was asked, "who do you think are the best team in the league? " What else should he have said?

When we blow Celtic away at Ibrox in the first derby game to open up a decent lead at the top and he's put in a decent performance at the same time then by all means he's entitled to make bold statements.
Until then I'd rather be did his talking on the pitch👍.

He's been asked a question by some reporter clown and there are 3 possible answers, "yes we are the best", "naw we're not" or "shut up no further comment unless you ask a sensible question" It's like being asked "do you think your manager is the best " what answer do they expect? naw he's useless?

Coldo what's ojo done to you? your opinion on him seems a lone voice there's no way he's as bad as you make out.

Blue blue sea, just ignore Coldo. He’s just struggling to get over the fact Kent might not be coming back. He would argue with himself in the mirror.

Agreed Coldo if it wasn't for his goal return I would be calling him the new Dalcio, aright I took that to far, LOL. His performances have been poor but still preseason so we can't really judge at the moment. There's no doubt about his pace and he can put in a tackle but he's wasted a lot of the ball. i'm sure he will come good when he finds his feet and adjusts to the Scottish game and the way we play.

Now that the dust has settled after Progrees, what worried me was it was a mirror image of us against a diddy team from last year, we absolutely battered them however on another day that game could have been 2 each. It just shows with all the talent in the world its hard to score a bag full against a parked bus. I can see our first game against Kille being similar so we must concentrate fully over the 90 or we will get punished. Just wonder if we will look at our tactics against such teams, when we play high and effectively the whole game in the final third we can look vulnerable on the counter which on many occasions ends in a set piece for the opposition.

that's the party piece of most SPL teams against us and was effective last year. More discipline in midfield perhaps, less gung ho, better defending on the counter, what do I know, just hope the management team have a few tricks up their sleeves. what's everybody thoughts, tactics tweek? or just batter teams we have better players this year and should score?
