I know we haven been, but anyone else think a 442 shape may work better now with the abundant choice in the midfield area.

I'd like to see Kamara Aribo Jack Arfield in one side with morelos and Defoe up top.

Morelos will terrorise defences this season, I just feel with him fighting to make chances, a lot of the team he's not actually in the box to finish them.

I'd have at least one winger playing . remember advocate used 442 with rod Wallace and Moll's up front midfield reyna on right Ferguson van bronkhorst in centre McCann left or sometimes Alberta would be on left and kanchelskis right but usually only used one winger and 3 midfielder! I think docherty could play wide midfield but not as a winger like reyna used to.

We should play the team, formation and tactics etc that finished last season so strong ( except the last game), why change a winning team. Jones in for kent, fods in for mcgregor, halliday for flanagan if not fit.

Fods tav goldson katic halliday jack kamara davis arfield jones defoe.

Same shape etc that pumped everyone during the split.

Again why change what we know worked so well. 👍.

Morelos doesn't like a partner haha. He won't pass to him. Need wide players. kamara would drop out for me. In current formation jack arfield aribo/ davis.

Kamara jack davis arfield. Why would it be anyone else? 👍 add jones to that with defoe up top and a back four of tav goldson/ helander katic flanagan with mcgregor in goals and we have a team👍.

Aye let's just bin morelos and his 30 goals a season. Defoe was 2nd choice last season and will be again this season aslong as morelos is around. Ojo is here to play also prefer him to Jones.

We were inconsistent with morelos's 30 goals, dropping points everywhere. When he was out the team we were consistently winning against the better teams. 🤦‍♂️👍.

It's no coincidence that when Davis found his form the team started to play better.

Morelos will fit nicely into that formation too.

We will miss Kent, but I'd play 1 winger either ojo or Jones and either Kamara or aribo.

Did I say it was morelos fault. The point I'm making is that we coped without morelos no problem, we were better without him. This constant reliance on morelos is nonsense. 👍.

Morelos is a no brainier, scored a load of goals against them last season and is our only real physical presence up front . You saw it the other night, absolutely nothing happening then Alfredo comes on and we start to find holes in there defence . I like Defoe but for certain games he is just not suited, I have watched him twice live at Kilmarnock and he was dreadful twice.
