See another 3000 seats to be closed off! Has anyone heard of this happening to other teams in Europe? Racism is rife on the continent, but are the fans behind those teams getting punished?

It really feels the stronger we are getting, the more folk out there really want us kept at bay and want to see our club fail. Honestly, I want to see other teams getting the same treatment we get. so far I've not heard or seen any, which is then victimisation of our club from people at the top of Uefa, which is shocking.

Group that we have been drawn in looks a tough group, but I reckon we aim to get 10-12 points we will get into knockout stage. 10 points minimum I think we could be there And I definitely think we can do it.

One game at a time I know, but the belief is there in this team, we are no pushovers anymore guys last night proved it. Flares going off, play getting stopped. Opposing players trying to intimidate our players, it never worked and we knocked them out.

Need to go back a long way for a Rangers team to have came through all that and kept our cool and discipline and get the result when it mattered most.

Whatever happens, let's enjoy the ride and more importantly at this moment in time now Is get the next 3 points in the bag on Sunday. 3-1 I reckon might start off a little nervy from both sides, but I reckon we will settle quickly, take control of the ball and have most of the possession on Sunday and chances created I definitely think 3-1, being kind giving them 1 😜.

In response to your first point Stig, yes plenty of other teams have had similar and worse punishments from uefa for politically incorrect chants or singing (uefa do not differentiate between them, they label them all under the same banner) . All you have to do is one quick google search of uefa punishments or stadium closures to see this.

Partizan Belgrade and a Serbian team (can’t remember the name) have already had their whole stadiums shut for 2 games just this year for their fans continual breaking of their rules. So yes others have been targeted in similar and worse ways. There is no conspiracy, it has nothing to do with Lawell or anything else that’s been said by some folk. It’s simply the process that uefa take for breaking their rules and others are in fact further down the route of punishment than we are. But if we don’t continue to behave as we did last night we too will end up with stadium closure or worse.

Well that’s good to know Ger78 knowing we’re not the only ones
Maybe seems that way to me because it’s our club and all over the Scottish media and seeing in those news outlets

Let’s hope the fans behind the chanting can see where it’s going to get us and stopping it is best for the club as a whole
And we can move forward and more importantly into the future not having to worry about this and concentrate on having full stadium so we can all get behind the team

Looking forward to Sunday?

Agreed stig, it is easy to feel it’s just us when it’s all over the Scottish media but we can’t start going down the paranoid route that the Celtic fans use to do, we have to be better than that. We can’t just start thinking it’s only us and feeling hard done to as then we won’t focus on actually fixing the problem which is the most important thing. And yes hopefully we can finally start moving past all of this and just focus on the football.
As for Sunday, yes looking forward to it, first time in a long time we’re genuinely confident!
