See Greg Docherty didn't make Europa league squad, think it's time we let this boy move on its obvious he's not making it with us
Real shame had high hopes for him he must be gutted Jones out as well I've a feeling he'll be off in January window.

He was never going to be good enough. His family are friends with my family so I was really rooting for him but he’s just not at the level sadly. He’s another Halliday, decent squad player and you would maybe keep him around as he’s a bluenose and probably a good influence in the dressing room, but he’s never going to be a first choice.

So is Flanagan and Barker but they are still included.
Jones injury must be worse than first feared or has he really annoyed Gerrard with that tackle on Sunday
Time will tell.

I really think Docherty is a very good player, and my feeling is that he's what, 19 years old?, so plenty of time for him to make it, he needs more game time, but at a higher level than League 1 in England.

Like yourself irvger, i do also think greg docherty is a good midfielder,
who will only get better. Who better to learn from and train with everyday than steven davis! I honestly do visualise greg docherty becoming a first team regular for us, in the future. I think we should keep him and tell him to bide his time. I may be wrong on this but i stand to be corrected, as i think doch has a future with rangers!

Yeah absolutely plenty time for Docherty to develop.

Said it when we signed him. said it when he went on loan. said it when he returned. Not good enough. Aribo jack davis kamara arfield and loaned out mccrorie are all better than him.

Would be really disappointed if Doc didn’t get a chance. Think a guy like him should be in front of Andy King but I trust SG so I hope it works out for the guy.

Said a while ago that he'd be lucky to get game time👍.

With a squad of 50 named and he's not in it?
I think that tells you all you need to know.

Docherty is 23 next week and unfortunately he won't be making it with us. He'll be away come January.

Jaws, surely you're not seriously suggesting that Docherty is a better player than King, a highly experienced and skilled internationalist with an EPL winners badge? Or are you suggesting he should be in front of King just because he's a good guy?

Tango rfc Jones out for a month europa league is longer than that, so entirely possible he could have been included 😂😂😂.

daisy yore I’ve always thought if Greg Doc got a good run of games he would be a big player for us in the future. Only reason I used Andy king as an example was although he’s only 31 Doc would be more one for the future imo.

John25 we've 4 recognised forwards in our squad initially I'd have dropped Zak Rudden then for final squad on current form Ojo all depends on the recovery of Jones so I kinda get not taking chance on him just feel Jones if fit seems to offer more than Ojo.
