On the 3 foreigner rule if Uefa/ FIFA were to bring it back in tomorrow how would that leave the likes of Arfield would he be classed as a foreigner or as a home grown player? There bound to be loads of players out there in similar circumstances.

I think if they even went the other way and make a rule of having a set number of home grown players in a match day squad. For example from the starting 11 and 7 on the bench say 5 of them need to be homegrown players. Homegrown as in born, trained or lived in Scotland for a set number of years.

Not sure tbh mate, I’ve always wondered about player like Arfield and these scenarios, I would imagine he must have a dual passport?
