Clearly things are going very well for the 1st team which is brilliant and long may it continue. Our youth set up is now the envy of many teams throughout the UK. Youngsters want to come to Rangers and in fairness Gerrard is a huge part of that. Always snipes coming from ex celtic players who can see what's coming and don't like it but the reality is we do have a long term plan. Love him or hate him I cannot fault Dave King for effort. Yes he may make some mistakes along the way (Sports Direct being the main one) but I have a team I am proud of again and a lot of credit should be given to King. Remember fellow Rangers, when we start winning trophies again this year, be good winners, we were born that way :)

Guys, the older fans amongst us will remember Bobby Russell a old fashioned No 8 signed from Shettleston Juniors, what a great player he turned out to be. Why would Shankland if he came to us be warming the bench, have we got so many natural scorers on board. I agree that it would have been worth a punt based on what I'm seeing now, after all we wasted £2 million on Grezda.

We should have snapped Shankland up when he left Ayr United, now we’ll have to pay a lot more but I think it would be money well spent as he’s obviously a natural goal scorer.

commonsense the sports direct problem was there already before dave king came in yes he has a battle on his hands and it is and hasn't been easy but i believe we will rid our club of the bad sports direct deals.

Well said Brian. people forget that . Mr king has and is manuvering us out of a very sticky situation that no one else was prepared to touch . The fact none of those people are now coming through our gates or sitting in our stands is testimony to his positive forward motions. Might not be pretty and is always open to getting slaughtered. even by our own glass half empty brigade but fir me we are progressing nicely. Ibrox was amazing on sat . Let’s try and get it like that all the time. For the first time at a league game we. weren’t reliant on the union bears although they played their part . I must admit though where we are has a huge huge slice of luck attached as well . Remember we nearly went for Mcinnes . 🙏thank you lord.

Ivger, we're obviously same era watching Bobby Russell. Always felt he was good player in mediocre side but always felt he could have been great if he added couple of stones.

MBW, spot on mate, very lightweight but great vision, it's a bit sad that players don't come through much from the Juniors nowadays, as it would have stopped a lot of these crazy transfer fees for less than ordinary players. I said in another thread also, I was at Rugby Park the day big Colin Jackson made his debut in a 2-0 defeat, and got booed of the park, he also didn't turn out too bad, maybe some of our glass half empty fans should be a little more patient.
