Personal opinion but I think winter break should be scrapped I know it wasn’t full strength squad but was shocking last night and flying before the break same with last year beat Celtic had the break and performance dropped. Don’t know if it’s going from warm country to coming back to freezing Scotland. Any1 else agree?

It would have been shocking if we had not won the match. Other than that it was like a training match with mainly second string players.

So are you classifying defoe, Davis, aribo, arfield, Jack and katic as second string? More than half the team where first team regulars. Most of the changes where in defence that barely got tested it was like a training game I agree with the opening post I think the winter break could be damaging to the teams momentum.

I think the game wouldve been exactly the same had there not been a winter break. Stranraer camped in there own half with 10 men behind the ball. We had something like 30 shots at goal to there zero. We won the game extremely comfortable. The only major dissapointment for me was Jones. No to fussed about barker as that's about his level anyway.

Tav and Barasic along with Kent would have changed that game massively. they are missed going forward there is no doubt about it. they ll be back in minus tav for next game and should see an improvement. look at the positives we got young Patterson a game and he did pretty well although not tested defensively.

Coully don't think Tav would have changed the game. Might have been just me but thot paterson delivery into the box was better.

Very lucky with 33 shots, 10 on target and 12 corners?

Possession is irrelevant when they had 0 shots and 0 corners in the match. Comfortable win, nothing like a good looking display but far from lucky IMO.
