The negativity towards Kent baffles me. I've rarely seen a winger who works harder than Kent, and almost every winger there has ever been has as many off days as they do good ones. Davie Cooper had some shockers, and sometimes they were 3 or 4 games in a row.

We have lacked creativity in recent weeks and Kent has been taking up positions that don't necessarily suit him, in order to try and impose himself on the game. From what I've seen, which is every game live, Arfield and Davis have been poor, and Aribo in and out of the game also. Arfield and Davis however don't get questioned by the fans, but Kent does? His pricetag isn't his fault.

For me, Kent is doing just fine and looks although he'll be a star for us. Along with Shagger, Alfie, Jack and Tav, he's one of the most important players we have and without any one of these, we can't win this league. Now that Tav and Stewart are back, along with Hagi and Kamberi added, we'll get back to breaking teams down easier and Kent will get back to his best.

One final point to annoy you all. Great to see Edmunson in for Katic. Katic, whilst ok at certain things, is an utter liability in his positioning and passing. We'll be far better off with him in reserve to use for the few games where it's all big headers and block tackles. I get it that a defenders job is to defend, but you need to be able to pass the ball as a given, and he simply can't.

Good post, gooner, Kent is the latest in a long line of whipping boys for the laptop loyal, many of whom couldn't give you directions to Ibrox but feel they have to vilify players at every turn.

Just remember yous are some of the same ones who slaughtered windass every week at ibrox while he scored 18 goals in 1 season from midfield. Short memories when complaining about a few grumbles towards kent who's contributing far less at the moment. Still believe Kent's a cracking player, but csnt be immune to criticism 👍.

Good post gooner. Completely agree with ecerything youve said about Kent. His work ethic and attitude even when he's not playing well is first class. He never hides and always wants the ball.

I disagree with your assessment of Katic. Whilst his diatribution does need to improve I don't think its quite as bad as you say. His positioning will improve with experience and you only get that by playing. Goldson isn't exactly fantastic with his positioning. I can remember several goals conceded because of Goldsons lack of awareness. I think all our centre halves are good but all have areas they need to develop. Edmundaon so far seems to have less areas he needs to develop than the others but that's probably because we haven't seen lots of him play.

Windass was ok. Scored few goals but in general went missing for 80 mins a game. Is now struggling to break into wigan team. Plays mostly from the bench. Tells a story i would say.

Mocbear, big edmunston came to rangers and if my momory serves me well a few clubs tried to buy him, but he chose rangers, mate. supposedly a good yim.

Yeah paulellen he looks good. I think he could be a cracker but just haven't seen enough of him yet. Hope he gets a wee run in the team now to show what he can do.

Difference is Kent at least has a bit of effort and bite about him. Windass was probably the softest player I’ve ever seen in my life. No heart.
