Heres a cracker of a question for you lot. guessing some if you are going to get serious on it as well. if you had to pick between celtic getting 10iar or rangers making it past the group stages of the champions league, which would you choose?

Me personally don't care about how much money we would make in champs league. i'd rather stop them getting 10. For the fact, i don't want them having that record over us.

Iggle mate, I always like your logic in your posts, but, on this occasion I have to disagree with you. Chasing Celtic who are financially out of our ballpark at this time v's making upwards of £15-£20 Million from Europe is a no brainer, unless you want to see us go under just to stop the 10 IAR.

I don't want them to get this any more than anyone else, believe me, but we need to look at the bigger picture, just my opinion, I know there will be others who agree with you, all the best to us for tonight.

Talking about the bigger picture? If they are allowed to get to 10 it could honestly be a generation before we catch up, if ever. This board have come in and invested heavily in order to close the gap and stop 10, it is the ONLY thing that matters just now.

Muppet who said go tits up? The money has already been invested by the board. Over £11m on transfers this summer and more than likely a permanent deal for Hagi and Kamberi at the end of this season. The investment has already been made.

The question was which of the two would you rather, not “would you bankrupt the club to stop 10.”.

No Muppet, because our manager has frittered it away on duds. But the board have provided funds every window since he came in, stands to reason they will make more money available - within our means - this summer, plus we will probably sell Morelos too. If we get a proper manager in the summer and give him the Morelos money plus whatever the board provide we should have a chance without putting the club in any kind of jeopardy. I don’t think Dave King would do that after spending his own money to bail us out.

So we have spent £11 million swagman that pays for their striker and the Christmas night out money buys better players look at their squad it’s in a different ball park to us, when SH came in we had a team that was getting trashed by them we had no scouting system all shut down no young players any who had a price we’re sold until we invest heavily and sort out our kit deal we will always be chasing.

Dave King has only put money in and expects to get it all back. Debt is now out of control and whatever money made from Europa is already needed to stave off Administration.
