I totally agree with ally mccoist. We should have signed livingston striker lyndon dykes,
in january there. Exactly what we need for our bread and butter games in scotland!
What's not to like here as big dykes is powerful, fast, superb in the air, two footed and can score goals! It would give us a completely different option when teams sit deep and try to contain and frustrate us.
In my thinking anyway dykes would improve even further at rangers, as nothing or no defender whatsoever, seems to faze him.

So we go from having the 2 best strikers in the country ( your words not mine) to a guy who has scored 9 goals this season. I have watched the lad and he can play but I don't see gerrard going for long punts up the park as I don't think our centre backs are even capable of punting long balls up the park.

I said it at the time, he was exactly what we needed in a striker. Would have given us different options of play to what we currently have in Alfredo and Defoe. Dykes isn’t just a battering ram and there is so much development in him, his value is only going to go upwards.

SGL we probably couldn’t afford them in January as we blew £7 million on Kent who has been an absolute disaster unfortunately.

imo the price tag of £7 million I’d want more than a goal against Celtic and Braga his performances have been extremely poor.

I said dykes in jan as well sgl, think he would have been a great option for us. i'd definitely be looking at a deal for him now.
