I have had many a rant over the years re our so called captain. He must be the first casualty as it was a clear mistake to make him captain in the first place. He is quite simply awful and not Rangers captain material. Time to give youngsters and fringe players a chance when we are out of Europe.

If we improve without him, Stevie might realize its time to take the armband off him.

But going by Stevies past stubborness to make changes I doubt it will happen.

After last weekend I thought that they'd come flying out of the traps the other night and it might be game over by half time, but no it looked like the same laboured build up, no pace or threat to their defence. Our defence is having a troubled time as well, which the management must see, but I can't see many changes to team members until the euro situation is known, and if we manage to win the next round, any changes will take longer as he cannot risk kids in the team in Europe! Who knows what SG is thinking but if we are knocked out by Leverkusen then he may bring some of the youngsters in for the remaining league games? we wait and see!
