Ed, could you run a poll, If Rangers went for the type of striker Rangers need for certain games, who would you prefer we signed, lyndon dykes of livingston, or sam cosgrove of aberdeen? Cheers!

For scottish football and with better players IMO Snell lyndon dykes Would excell at rangers.
Everytime i've seen big dykes i've been impressed with him. He would also improve further at rangers. Tell me snell for the scottish league ie. horses for courses and all that what is it mate that you don't like/ rate about lyndon dykes? Only asking because of course you're entitled to your opinion! 🤔🤔.

I just see him as a big lump mate that won't work when we face the standard two banks of four. Could be wrong of course, just feel the days when we used to snap up the best of the rest aren't there just now. Premier League was a stronger level then top to bottom and don't see anyone in the top division with a striker I'd take.

I get where you're coming from SGL but the manager doesn't play that way and I don't fancy watching it every week either.
It only gets you so far or Livi would be further up the table. 👍.

Sorry, SGL, got to disagree. Playing a 'battering ram' type of striker just wouldn't work against banks of 4-5 or 5-4. Guile and not brawn is required, as per Liverpool against such defences. Dykes is a slightly better proposition than Cosgrove, but then again Ojo is a slightly better proposition than Barker. Doesn't mean a lot when neither is the answer.

Although I'm not keen on these 2 . if I was to choose between them I'd take dykes all day long.
Far better player than he gets credit for.
A real workhorse with plenty of courage.
And big Julie👠 is scared of him 😆.
