With Ryan Jack being out of game tomorrow, do you think that Katic or possibly Halliday could be used as a defensive midfielder?

I think that Katic could add a bit of physicality in the midfield.

I don't like the idea of katic as a holding midfielder at all. Be better using Polster.

Katic as a midfielder? Isn’t ball retention a key requirement of midfield play? Katic is worse than awful. Good shout on Halliday though. Should have been given his chance long ago. Davis and kamara have been terrible since New year so I doubt he could be any worse.

Halliday is an awful midfielder and way below the quality required. Polster would be a better bet.
