This coronavirus is terrible but in terms of football, surely if the Scottish Premiership can't be completed then the competition has to be declared null and void? We have 9 games to play so mathematically could still win the league, having to play Celtic twice. They can't possibly be awarded the title in such circumstances, even though Lennon is claiming they should in a statement today. It is a difficult one but should Celtic be awarded the title in the event that the season is abandoned it would be yet another tainted title. First and foremost let us keep ourselves and our families safe. I'm sick to death of the media scaremongering over this.

Doiger, for many of reasons you mentioned League is a goner. Lennon, if of sound mind and body, wouldn't nor shouldn't try and accept league under such circumstances. Yet another league won under tainted circumstances. That be six won't it? In all honesty they've, won hee haw.

If the season isn't completed then Celtic should not be crowned champions. And at the other end Hearts should not be relegated. Would love to see the meltdown if this season was declared void😂.

I saw a post earlier on this, saying that this would be a great time to sort out a new league structure, e, g, 18 in SPLand Championshipe with the rest forming leagues1 &2, obviously a chance for Highland, Lowland and some top Junior sides to enter the fray, sounds not a bad idea TBH, and would get rid of this s--t of playing every team 4 times.

Spot on guys. Legal team should be readied as I wouldn't be surprised if they were awarded the title. This is just wrong and would never stand up in court. Hope we don't go all wishy washy and just roll over and assume the position like we usually do.
