Bare with this hypothesis for a minute folks.

I've thought for many years that TV would eventually dictate football as it does now but to a greater extent.

For example, Monday night viewing, Bournemouth v Crystal Palace would attract a certain amount of viewers no doubt. However, Chelsea v Rangers or Man U v Celtic or perm this with any of the large European teams and you get my drift.

The TV companies would surely be looking at the potential draw of certain teams and be thinking, look at what we could be making if these leagues were expanded.

Well now that footie might be a closed door event, this could be the time where this notion could be explored through the streaming platforms.

I can't have been the only person to have thought this way so surely these highly paid TV executive types must've given this a bit of thought.

Anyway, maybe just some wishful thinking on my part and logistically probably a nightmare but hope is a wonderful thing lol.

I agree, CVD, I think the old firm in the EPL would be massive for the TV firms, and for fans. Would be some cracking matches.

Rather than England. It'll be an expanded Europa League and champions League in the future.
