Just another thought I'm putting out there. Go for Clyne on free transfer promote Patterson and move Tav to AMR. Any the 2 fail to make the grade we still have Tav to fall back on for RB.

If tav is not good enough u don’t move him around u replace him.
I think when mcgregor stops playing in goals we should try him right wing.

I think tav should be moved on if he has another poor season his value will plummet, and if Clyne is injury prone I wouldn’t touch him either he was a very good player in his day but we can’t afford £25/ 30k a week players not playing, also I think Kent should start on the right wing it’s where he’s at his most effective for me.

Tav can't cross, he can't beat a man. Why would we play him at AMR? Having said that, he can't defend but gets a game at RB👍.
