Gazzaloyal, a wee question for you here pal,
as you seem a very similar supporter to myself in the regards of supporting/ backing the team, by getting right behind our club.
In your opinion pal, is our captain james tavernier the best right full back in scottish football? 🤔In my opinion he is with ease!

There's absolutely nothing to be gained by slaughtering our captain at games, yes 100% he had that mistake in him or out position tendancy but as you state 100% correct coop he's the best right back in Scotland and when he has his swag and confidence his crossing, attacking, free kicks, penalties can be invaluable to us.

He's not my pick as captain coop probably like yourself but while he is captain and a rangers player I'll support him all the way. If we had someone tracking back to cover him like candeias did you see the best of tav and he has more confidence going forward knowing someone's helping him if he's too far forward.

Hope that answered part of your question 🙈🙈a season like this no way I'd be selling him to try and get a new rb in, funnily enough I wouldn't change his captaincy either this season maybe a challenge like this season will bring the best out in him.

To be honest coop I really don't see much movement this window as I've stated before I don't think defensive errors cost us the point gap showed in the table I believe it was down to our midfielders not chipping in with goals or lack of creativity against defensive teams.

If we can see the best and get mentality high with players like Kent, aribo and hagi, and keep the core of our team I think weel win the league this season.

I think weel only add 1 or 2 talented players with a few back up players added to the bench. I can only see kamara being sold this window unless morelos wants away then we will have to pull out the stops to bring in a good goalscorer, hope morelos stays though and proves to everyone he's a winner.

SGL, your entitled to your opinion mate and your happy with Tav. My opinion is we need better quality players. We can't win the league with those players, so what's the answer- keep the same players and win SFA again? As I've said, drop Tav as captain so he can focus on his game, give Jack the armband. Gerrard obviously has his favourites and seems stubborn to change things. We simply cannot go another season without winning anything. I don't understand you comment about similar supporters. We all share the same passion and want our team to succeed.

Tavernier is an awful captain and a liability at the back. Never far from a mistake. Clearly one the managers favourites and like Goldson can make as many mistakes as he likes but still plays. We do need better than both if we are going to win league.

Sgl he's decent, no more mate. Makes far too many daft mistakes for a full back. Celtic away, hearts away n young boys x2 last year automatically pop into my head. Great engine and s good outlet for us up that line, but makes far too many silly mistakes. Still convinced he misses candeias, said that all along.

Shay Logan is a better defender than Tav IMHO (by ease as you put it)
Tav can’t defend so he can’t be the best right back in Scottish football.
What you know about football you can write on the back of a postage stamp FACT.

Tav is asked to push forward and overlap with the right winger, as is normal for fullbacks nowadays, so by default he will regularly be out of position. That's when a covering midfielder is required to take his place, pretty simple really. Doesn't make Tav a poor defender, if you watch his work when he is in position then he does well.

Personally think I that El mahamady is the better RB, just fortunate for us that he is always injured!

Think Tav would be better in a midfield 5. He is certainly no defender!

Bizzmy what about fresh air swiping 2 simple punts down the middle in one game v young boys? Falling over his feet at hearts, passing it straight to the Tim's player at park head. he's not even close to a decent defender. Does a lot of good work driving us on up the righ, but ultimately costs way too many goals.

Steven Gerrard OUR MANAGER, thinks he is good enough, so that is what he is paid a bucket load of money for, leave these decisions to him, we have bigger fish to fry, i. e. a striker, and goal scoring midfield player.
