I'll share a strikers name with my fellow bears here who i think at 31 years old would be a superb signing for us and is a free agent at the end of this month. This big guy would destroy defenders up here in our league. He's currently with zenit st. petersburg and is a 6 foot 5 powerhouse.
He goes by the name of dzyuba, what do we think fellow bears?

Reading up on him sgl he said scotland were hatchet men last autumn when scotland played russia don't think he will fancy getting booted about in the spfl but aye cracking player.

Big guy is a tremendous player but cannot see him signing for us, with the main reason being the money the home grown players get paid in Russia.

I’m sure the Russian league brought in a restricted foreigner rule so they pay top, top money to their best homegrown talent to keep them due to only being able to field 5 foreigners.

Correct fruit bear at least SGL identified a quality player worthy of a gers top.
U r right think he would be miles out of our reach.
However better tan reading about dykes cosgrove shankland et al.

John, there’s no doubt about it that talented players will be available. Now that other leagues are finishing you will see guys becoming available that of a better standard than Cosgroves etc.

If I had the option to sign Dykes, I would bring him in to add to what we have already. Don’t know for certain how he would do but there’s just something about him I like as a player. Cosgrove would be a massive no for me and Shankland is completely unproven at the SPL level. This is not the season for taking a gamble.

IF (as it seems quite likely) Morelos was to leave, then you couldn’t replace him with Dykes, Dykes would be a good addition to the strikers we have but if Alfie goes you would think a marquee signing would be required to replace him.

U r probably right. Fruit bear. I just don’t think SG will change our style to play a guy like dykes.
Also dykes has no flair for Europe
