I read the new season there is 5 subs allowed in a game could be a chance of at least one youngster getting game time from bench.

I don’t think it’s been confirmed up here yet mate but I would expect it will end up that way.
It doesn’t mean you need to use 5 subs every game either.
Youngsters will only get a chance if we are well up.

Having 5 subs will benefit Celtic at the moment due to more strength in squad depth, so yes I can see it happening,

I hope so Sirwalter. Hopefully in next few years Rangers can get a colt team into lower league set up. This would give a much better platform to evaluate talent and integrate up-and-coming youth into first team.

How’s the perfect time to introduce colt teams, especially as other clubs will never be in more need of some extra finance, for that reason I can’t see it happening lol 😂 spfl got a ‘ keep u pissed off ‘ reputation to protect lol 😂.

I think that although you can choose from 5 subs, you only have 3 periods in which to change them. Obviously if you want to use 5 subs during the game you would need to make double or triple subs. eg 2 doubles and a single.
