This is what I think makes the difference between Celtic and our team, and proves decisive over the season. Take the two wingers, Kent scored 8, Forrest scored 16 (double) . Midfielders; Arfield 9, Aribo 9, a total of 18. McGregor 13, Christie 19, a total of 32 (almost double) . Don't forget Christie underwent a groin op too. If we are to topple Celtic we have to improve in these areas, signing yet another defensive midfielder is not going to change this key area. For me, we do need more steel in the middle of the park, but we must without question, also add more creativity, more goal threat than we currently have. Without this I cannot see us creating enough goal scoring chances to win the league.

I don't disagree The Muppet, but won't Hagi at least help solve part of the problem you have highlighted, i. e. creativity and goals? We definitely need to add another attack-minded midfielder though.

We need more goals from Scotty and joe and if we don’t get them they need replaced with bit is a poor return from our attacking minded midfielders if they can produce more goals they need replaced simple as that.

Muppet been saying this all last season, wasn't defensive errors or morelos red cards that saw them awarded the title it was lack of goals from our midfield which celtic had in abundance.

Kent, aribo and hagi need to step up massively this season.

I agree Gazzaloyal 👍Our attacking midfielders and wingers should be hitting double figures, in our goalscoring column mate! Arfield has a decent midfield goalscoring record, since he signed for us!

The truth is our team were no good enough to win the league, but for them to be awarded the 9 when it was not impossible for us to win it sticks in my craw especially now when even our own players are saying we must go all out to stop the 10.

Sgl I'm an optimist like yourself and I think players out of position, and maybe the culture shock of a club our size to begin which possibly affected aribo - I think Kent aribo and hagi all will contribute much more than last season.

Remember i was saying newcastle utd have always been my favourite english club and you said all your family and friends support newcastle, are they from newcastle or up in scotland pal? 🤔I do know from going down their regularly to visit good pals of mine and family, that in general the newcastle supporters much prefer rangers over celtic, well the biggest majority of them do, i take it you know that yourself anyway GazzaLoyal? 🤔.

SGL why say arfield has a decent goalscoring record but not aribo when the scores the same last season both need to be hitting 12-15 goals and you are correct about the wingers also kent was poor last year but hopefully can do the biz this year.

Guys the biggest problem re goals. Is the team try and walk the ball into the net, Not enough efforts from outside the box, I was always told from an early age playing football. Have a crack from outside the box, Surley SG and GMc have said to the players at training to do this, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.

There geordies but live here coop friends and family. As I said I don't have an English club but lean towards Newcastle just because of friends and family, yes big following both ways they bring many other people with them to ibrox aswell as travelling on occasion to see the toon. Great support.
