We are invited to a tournament we play in that tournament and win it and still usual suspects not happy you can guarantee if we didn't win it we'd have posts "Gerrard failed again", another chance for a win gone" blah blah
Can for once just be happy that we won a trophy regardless of the prestige it did or didn't have

No one is saying they aren't happy! People are just saying that it can't be counted as legitmate trophy! Which it isn't. Would you's say the season was a success if that's the only trophy we won. You's will want a star next added to the crest. Everyone is happy with the way we won the friendly games, not one person has said they aren't, you just can't go around saying its Gerrard's first trophy as manager, that's embarrasing and ridiculous. 👍.

I'm confused, if this isn't SG's first trophy as manager then have we won one previously? I thought this was his first or are you saying this trophy he won isn't a trophy?
For you to be correct then this trophy has to not be a trophy because as far as the rest of the footballing world is concerned, the trophy he just won is indeed a trophy. Therefore, the trophy he just won would make it his first trophy won as manager.
Obviously I'm being a bit of a dick with the way I've written this coldo, but I'm sure you understand that, unlike the concept of what constitutes a trophy being won, that and counting.

Coldo i'm long enough in the tooth to know/ understand that if that's all we won, of course that's not good enough for glasgow rangers. But hand ✋ on heart pal a helluva lot on here need to get behind the club more and support, instead of putting negative slants even when we win a four club tournament in france! that's the crux of the matter for me mate. We done well, give credit and move on, instead some are hellbent on finding negative slants all the time. Get behind the club and there will be time for analysing how well/ poor we've done at the end of the season, that's where i'm coming from mate!

Coldo, my little boy is 6 and says it is SGs first trophy and he is 100,% correct, it is our first trophy, okay granted a Mickey mouse trophy but none the less it is a trophy.
