With the impending possible departure of morelos, which pains me if true, who could realistically replace his strength, vision, work rate, goals scoring, heading? He has been for us the complete striker, many players mentioned have mainly one trait, we definitely need a tall, strong pacey player who knows where the net is, we all know the Scottish game is tough and height is needed, especially against all the park the bus teams!

Daz, think of it this way - Morelos is going to make us a healthy profit. Everyone is replaceable. Be positive. I hope Gerrard gets the full sale price to spend.

I hope Alf stays but looks like he's going - he has been a formidable striker for us, even with all the issues and I, for one, thank him and wish him all the best. It's not ideal to be losing our top goalscorer at this stage, and not having a replacement already settled in to the squad, but we have to be realistic re the times we are in. No doubt we need the money for him b4 we can buy the quality required to replace him; and due to pandemiç the completion of his move has probs been delayed, as clubs waited to see what was happening re return of leagues. No need for drama; we just have to deal with it and move on.

Daz, the complete striker for us? A good player he has been no doubt but don’t think he is the complete striker? I reckon StevieG will be glad to see the back of him with his attitude, sendings off and also not been off the boil after the turn of the year. I say it again that the guy has wanted out for the last 18 months and I thought he would have moved to a bigger club! Complete Striker for me is Mark Hateley/ Colin Stein who were different class and winners.

Yately I mean complete striker as he has it all, albeit not consistent enough and too hot headed, but his goals can just come from nowhere, skill, strength, pace, aerial ability aswell, I wasn't for a minute comparing him to the great men you mention.
