I don't think there was any intention but arguable whether it was excessive or reckless. Seen them given but I don't see it as clear either way and some of the reaction has been totally over the top.

As a club, to be winners, I think we need to stop all these distractions and not feed the media. The results are all that matter and do our talking in private.

Strange that Charlie nick says its a red and without even being debatable, we must remember now that according to kj and John, a straight studs showing tackle on the knee when ball is on the ground is not a red card, even though I've been trying to find a player who agrees with them, not a red? I felt at the time there was intent and still do. Btw I said at the time that Jack's tackle was a red all day as well. As far as I am aware only the tim referee from down south, Dermot something or other, and one or two of you guys along with the manky mhob think it shouldn't have been red.
