Its testament to how professional james tavernier is, that after all the abuse our club captain took last year, from his own supporters may i add was way over the top IMO and the way he's bounced back to prove them wrong and how good a captain/ right back he is 👌The way he's playing ATM, whether its in scotland or not, he has to be easily one of the best right backs in europe just now! 🤔His stats are incredible and out of this world 👌So well done tav for sticking to it and proving how good you are 👍🇬🇧.

My vote: Sandy Jardine

Not just because he was a great player, but a great Bluenose and had class through and through.

For us slightly more experienced/ older rangers supporters, its very hard to not choose sandy jardine as the best rangers right back of all time 👌
However, i thought gary stevens is the best modern day right back i've seen playing for the glasgow rangers mate 👌.

I’d say toss off coin between Eric Caldow and Sandy Jardine.
Tav would not make top five, easily number one in terms of goals and assists.

Yeah I noticed in that game Maradona scored his 2nd goal and the best World Cup goal ever, Gary Stevens is beside Shilton as he passes it in and must have had some view of that goal! All joking aside Gary Stevens was some fullback!

Slim it’s all about opinions but I would agree tav is one of the best in his position in Europe. It’s all relative however . are we talkin best two? Best 20 best 30 .
I would say he is in the top ten all be in the second half 👍.

John25 Eric Caldow was a left back. Met him in the shop at Ibrox and what a gentleman I will stay in the time of Caldow and say Bobby Shearer.

Forgot to mention that all this "best" whatever doesn't rally work, as football has changed so much, except maybe goalkeepers. In the 50s/ 60s full backs were full backs and not wing backs or any other term that be used.
