Aye they get payed all that money and sit on their arse but they also bring in approx £3billion in tourism and they also pay tax as well. So waste of space I think not. Without them there would be a massive deficit in tourism revenue. Although I'm not exactly a royalist the money they bring in is massive to the British economy.

I'm not a royalist but the question is what or who would you replace them with? A president? Someone like the dictators Putin or Erdogan? I support the Queen and Prince Philip and Charles and his children but after that the others should stand on their own two feet, financially. Like them or not, the Royal Family is the envy of large parts of the world and the Queen is universally respected and brings stability to our country.
