John25,do you think borna barisic will be sold this summer 🤔If you do how highly do you personally rate barisic and how much would it take do you reckon, for rangers to sell him🤔 Finally within reason, who do you want/ think should be borna's replacement as rangers left back 🤔.

SGL, I'd rather keep him, but he will be at the age where he may wish to move on, I wouldn't want less than £25 Million, as that's what KT went for. As for his replacement, I'd be happy with Basset.

My names John tae so I'm going to chip in 😂. Yes borna will be sold. I rate him as good as ANY left back I've seen in Europe. Would certainly not look out of place in any side in Englands tops flight and think he would actually perform better with higher caliber players alongside him, having said that he's playing in Scotland which devalues him but I'd reckon we will do business North if £10m.
As for a replacement I'd like to think we can unearth another similar to borna, these Eastern European leagues are place to look.

Jzer, I agree mate 10mill+ maybe even addons based on Euros?
Anyone from UK is out of our price range so we need to look at 4-5mill from Eastern Europe.

Why are you so keen to undervalue him? He's one of the best left backs across Europe at the moment, performing to a high level in the Europa League. Just because he plays in Scotland shouldn't devalue him, it never devalued the likes of Tierney, Dembele or van Dijk when they moved on from Celtic! We should be looking for a bare minimum of £20m for Barisic when he moves on.

Dothebouncy, I don't think anyone is undervaluing him. he's nearly 30, the guys you named were all early to mid 20s, they all had champions League experience (of a sort) AND will have sell on value. We need to be realistic.

It depends where he goes, if its England should be at least same as Thierney if its Germany maybe not as much.

Anything north of £13m is a good piece of business. Ideally somewhere around £15m.

Wouldnt be in a massive rush to sign a replacement as pretty confident we have that already in bassey.

Could maybe look for someone in the region of 2-3m to give good competition for the spot.
If looking at cheaper options / prospects i rate the young lad Doig at hibs.
