Just after reading an article in which well known arsenal fan piers morgan said he can't believe arsenal got kieran tierney for as little as £25million🤔He said its robbery and arsenal stole him from celtic 🤔Him and a lot of the gunners supporters are stating that tierney would get in any team in the english premier league, as their left back ATM 🤔
I'll honestly admit that i think and always have thought, that tierney is a superb left back, but we also have a superb left back in borna barisic 👌🇬🇧 There's not much between barisic and tierney IMO fellow bears 🤔
What's your thoughts on this 🤔ED'S what's your take on this also guys?

{Ed001's Note - Tierney is good, but Robertson is better and doesn't get injured every few weeks. I would take Robbo over him every time, though it is extremely close. It is just Robbo is that good. And he cost less than half that much.}

Robbo for me, best left back in the world 👍 torrent is immense though. Think Scotland should play him at right back not centre half. A player I really rate as a left back and I think would be great replacement for bb if he is to leave this summer is Patrick van Aanholt. I believe his contracts up in the summer and he’s been linked with Ajax so I’m sure we could match his wage demands if he’s considering playing in Holland.

Ed KT is a better defender than robbo it’s just robbo is better going forward.


SGL I may take some stick for this but hands down KT is better than barasic Just my opinion.

{Ed001's Note - I disagree, they are equally as good defensively. Robbo just plays for a team that asks him to do less defending. It is very close though, they are both great players. Just a shame that Scotland has produced two great players at the same time and they both play the same position!}

ED001,where does barisic stand when comparing him to tierney mate, if you don't mind 🤔.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know. I haven't seen a lot of him play to be honest. Seen him probably twice in full games. He looked excellent but the quality of the opposition was not that good, as they were both games against Celtic ;-)

Borna's a talented left back, there's no doubt about that and croatia's current no.1 left back 👌
I rate both andy robertson and kieran tierney very highly indeed!
Both are terrific left backs and imo barisic is up there 👌🇬🇧.

{Ed001's Note - he did look good but I just don't like to judge players on one or two views as you can get a false impression. The issue with Barisic is his age. The full-back position is the most demanding in modern football, it really takes a lot of energy, so he probably only have a few years left at his peak.}

Tierney is playing well but nowhere near Robertson's standard imo. I think Borna is better than Tierney and is more of a goal threat. Regular Croatian LB, says it all really.

Barasic is far better than Robertson. Robertson is good but over rated. Playing with good players makes him look good. The amount of cross balls he gives away is high. Barasics speed, crosses and free kicks are superb and shouldn't go unnoticed.

That’s a bold statement stuck? I also think borna is top drawer and could easily be 1st choice left back for top teams in Europe. He would walk into Man Utd, wolves, Man City, Southampton, however I still rate robbo as the best in the world. His energy levels are off the chart.

Robertson all day long for me, by a mile. He intimidates forwards and midfielders, and has a wee jastybstreak. Also can provide amazing service when going forward and does NOT so far suffer from injury. Best in the world at the mo.
Sorry guys BB is not up there, anywhere near.

I am sorry but KT is far superior to AR, AR plays for the better of the 2 teams but KT is there best player in a poor team imho.

I would rather have Teirney than Robertson. Very close, but although he played for them, I always really admired KT. Some of the treatment he got was outrageous when he left. He gave absolutely everything for them and some of them denied him the opportunity to go on to the levels he is currently at. He definitely has a bigger move coming and I wish the boy nothing but the best 👏🏻.

Robertson great at going forward - Pathetic at defending.

Tierney far better at defending and pretty good going forward.

Think Borna is a good balance between the two tbh. If I had to choose between them and I’m not being biased I would actually go 1. Borna, 2. Tierney 3. Robertson.

Basically that comes from the blend between attacking and defence. Think Borna excels in both and the other two a weight slightly more to one over the other.

Guys i know this is a rangers site but for me KT is the better left back than andy robertson. The fact he has won the EPL and champions league glosses over everything. We have the croatia left back who is outstanding and will go on to prove it in a better league than scotland. Easily command £20m. KT for me is class tho. Robertson is good but KT is the better alround player. Anyhow, onwards to 55 and still say 50k for kamara is a steal. he will be the one who we can get real money for in imo in terms of what we paid to what we sell him for. Plenty assets at ibrox, hopefully we can bring in a few gems to add to the quality and keep the resale value going.
