Time to dispell some Timmy Myths regarding Rangers and C.V. testing.
Pre-season, Rangers returned from winning a tournament in France and were tested on their return.
There was a development squad game (remember these players don't get tested before matches) against Dundee Utd on the morning which some of the young players who had been in France played in.
A game against Motherwell was put back once Rangers had been notified that their was a backlog at the testing centre.
Rangers were found to have followed all the correct protocols by the Joint Response Group and had no case to answer.
On to Jones and Edmundson. Found at a house party by the police and immediately suspended by the club before they had a chance to come into training. Punished by the police, the SFA and more importantly Rangers. Applauded by the ScotGov for our quick response and action.
Then we had Helander. Tested positive after the Benfica game and missed the Standard Leige and Ross County games after isolating with Government guidelines. It was actually assumed that he had returned a false positive as subsequent tests proved negative but Rangers stuck to the isolation period.
Nathan Patterson also had to isolate for 10 days after being in close contact with someone whilst on U21 duty.
Rangers followed protocol in all cases and were praised by the relevant authorities.
Compare and contrast to the Whataboutery Tims.
Bolingoli jaunted to Spain and returned to play against Killie without notifying anyone. Celtic thought their punishment was too strong.
Griffith's had a party breaking rules for a sportsman in a bubble. Lennon said he done nothing wrong.
Frimpong flew a woman over from America breaking his bubble. Lennon said he'd done nothing wrong.
Christie told to self isolate after being in close contact with Armstrong who tested positive whilst on Scotland duty. Celtic fight for him to be made available to play against Rangers.
Duffy leaves the sporting bubble to travel home from Dubai to deal with a family emergency. Celtic make him available to face Hibs after Kennedy initially rules him out.
And we then have the ill fated PR disaster of the trip to Dubai. Supposedly a training camp but it's the player on CRUTCHES who catches CV! And Celtic played the 'we've done nothing wrong' card until they got it tight from some of their own fans and the ScotGov.
Throw in their fans gathering at Parkhead to celebrate the Tainted Title, another treble and the riits to chase Lennon and Co out of town and it makes a mockery of Liewell stating they have been most affected by CV - yes most of it your of own doing!
Just be grateful that Rangers have acted correctly at all turns and have also been praised for our actions.

Good post highlights the attitude to the rules and perceived entitlement
Will be interesting to see what happens with the huddle. surely if close contact at celebrations is banned?
