Let's say we don't need to sell any of our first teams squad this summer.

Who is the weakest link that should be first to be upgraded to improve on our performances this season?

Last season it was Halliday and Flanagan - no financial pressure.

Arfield.
He's had a good season but is struggling to return to any kind of form after his recent injury.
So an attacking midfielder who can also pass the ball ( one of Arfields limitations ) and score goals would be my choice.
This would also allow Aribo to move in to the front 3 where he is more effective.

Aribo should not be near the starting 11 unless we have injuries. He can't play in the midfield and is really not much better out wide either. McGregor tav goldson barasic davis Kamara Kent fredo (when he's on it) . That's our spine. Add quality to that and then we improve. I'd give wright a chance out wide from now until the end of the season, proved yesterday he's a far better option than hagi and aribo on the right, least he can run at a man and take him on, just like kent. 👍.

Aribo great young midfielder we have IMO he is young arfield is getting on a bit but has been good prior to injury but you are right mph his passing is poor. Would still keep him but won’t play as much next season.
Don’t agree aribo should be in front 3 better in the midfield 3 for me.


SG obviously sees something in aribo that others on here can’t don’t understand why but fans love a whipping boy for no reason.

It's a hypothetical question Yately as to where we should improve the team, not a question of criticism.
Arfield has been a revelation at the role he plays exploiting the space created by Morelos.
But let's not kid ourselves Arfield doesn't have limitations.
Every player in our team does. 👍.

Only a few weeks ago aribo was being classed ( by the majority on here and Stevie g) as being unplayable. REMEMBER? Dosnt take a lot for some to forget . coldo.
