Sell Tav and replace with Patterson, young lad has had a great spell barring his party piece. Tav has been brilliant and I was negative about him, yes he's the captain but Rangers as a club need to get bigger and better. He's been loyal but show me the money. Patterson every bit as good and will get better. Gaffer has hard decisions to make for the club. Any thoughts?

Spose it all depends on what offers come in and what our players want Chunky .

I always got the feeling Tav wants to stay for a couple or so more years until he moves on to finish his career in the EPL.

Sorry disagree as much as Patterson has done well since coming in we need to be careful with the lad. All too easy to think he's made it.
Tav is one of our most important players on and off the park and as soon as he's match fit he's back in the side and Patterson is on bench. Or in the hoose if he's banned.
We need to build on what we have and Tav is far too important to leave IMO.

If you sell Tav What calibre of player would you bring in to cover for Patterson as SG wants two good players in each position.

Paterson has to play to continue his development. Tav has been great this year but he is getting on. If we get a decent offer I'd take it. We have a ready made replacement. Hopefully keep the likes of Kamara Kent. We have to sell so tav would make good business sense. 👍.

Let's just wait and see if and how many offers come in for our players. I feel we have the 90% nucleus of a squad at present capable of winning the league again next season, they need major surgery, we don't. I do think we will get rid of some players, and sell at least two players though, whom, will depend on offers received.

Patterson is not at Tav's level yet, he needs to get serious game time under his belt. He needs to go out on loan to get the experience he needs.

Have to say, having read stevie nonsense about Patterson , ots quite embarrassing really, dies he mean the boy is, or should be exempt because he's a decent prospect, its very strange things to day, and bringing Clarke into the equation seems as if he's trying to use Scotland as justification, just not right imo.

If Tav doesn't sign a contract extension then I would play Paterson instead.
For me Paterson has a better defensive head and will only get better and better offensively.
The issue arises if Rangers offer Tav a new deal and he signs. We are then left with 2 decent RB's, one at the age of 19 who is already good enough for the first team. How do you guarantee him game time? Cups and league games after midweek European games? But will that be enough? I
Alan Hutton has already said that Patterson is far better than he was at the same age.

That's not the point sweep. Nobody's saying he's getting on a bit. He's at an age where we can still demand a good transfer fee and play Patterson, a player who's ready for a Scotland call up and already rated as a right back equivalent to the left back Tierney. Best squad development player in over a decade.

Patterson is no way ready to step up into tavs shoes. We sell tav now and we weaken our right side dramaticly.

Think we should be talking up Patterson big time, he is a great prospect and looks up for it, yes he made a mistake with C.V., but others have across the board as well. The boy is quick, two good feet and puts his foot in and will only get better.
Notice the media don’t give him the plaudits they gave Tierney when he came onto the scene. Patterson should not go on loan, we will have enough games next season for him.
Already at least a 5 million pound player for me 🇬🇧55.

When I say getting on I mean nearing 30 and players do lose their value. I don't mean he is done sweep, but I'm sure you knew that. We have no resale value on defoe davis mcgregor. Tav does have a resale value and we do need to sell. Would make sense if we have paterson. 👍.
