McAllister claims Tav and Paterson could play together depending on the formation.
That would possibly mean Tav moving into midfield? Do we think he's good enough to play there?
I read a report from Alan Hutton who said that when he broke through he was competing with Rickson for the RB slot but then Dickson was moved into the middle as he was good enough to play there.

I would have thought young Nathan would be more suited to a move forward. He's rapid and can tackle.

I wouldn’t put Paterson or Tav in midfield just to accommodate, not in a 4-3-3. Ricksen played right in a 4-4-2. Just my opinion.

I personally think it’s like Scotland accommodating tierney and Robertson, they’re both left backs, really good ones, but square pegs into round holes doesn’t always work. Paterson doesn’t have the craft of a Davis or Kamara, he’s a great attacking right back but not a midfielder for me in the current system, although possibly in a 4-4-2.

So play tav as a tw who hits a target every 1 in 10 crosses. Instead. Yeah that makes sence. Take the money for tav and play Patterson or we will kill the wee guys confidence. The confidence he would gather knowing he was good enough to replace tav would be hugely beneficial to us plus whatever tav is worth in this market. My opinion amd am sticking with it. Patterson for tav and sell tav. Sure the boy maxwell can play lb and rb as cover for Patterson.

I think tav want a crack at champs league guys n may well move on next summer back south for a crack at the epl. To prove to himself he’s good enough for it, that then would give Patterson another year to mature. He will be the right rides rangers version of Kieron tier net and I think will fetch us £25m in 4/ 5 years time.
