We need to be on our toes for this cup game against the Saints. Thier no mugs for sure.
I know we didn't play Morelos or Kent but Bassey for me isint good enough. Jury is out about itten and Roofe is good but too injury prone.

We need to try and get another Lb, a player who is similar to Davis and another striker.

I was impressed with Simpson I must say. Also the boy Wright looks s great addition.

Impressed with Simpson? He could have been caught for 3 or 4 penalties.

Bassey is getting 15 minutes here and there the same as Itten, no bounce games available to get them upto the required speed and fans expect them to be Maradona when they get a chance.

I like Itten but he's played / came of the bench 36 times out of 49 games he's been involved in the squad. For a total of 1,127 minutes and has scored 6 goals.
Sometimes you just have to grab your chance however small when it arises.

Came off the bench when games are mostly won, a lot of these games we hardly even tried to get into the opposition box by the time the guy gets on, I think its embarrassing to slaughter the guy.

Thought Bassey coming in from the cold was ok itten ok . IWW might learn more after a run of games in a row with these guys . Problem is they would need the guy who holds the shirt to get injured. Bit like what happened with Patterson and tavernier.

Whats embarrassing Sweep? How is saying that I don't think he's good enough is "slaughtering" the guy as you call it?

I can't only judge him on what I've seen and too me he doesn't look good enough.

So if we sold Barasic would he fill that slot week in week out?

Take paterson for example. He didn't get time to get up to speed and has slotted right in and has been immense.

I sometimes think we overlook the obvious by berating players on a game by game basis ( and we are guilty ) rather than look at the bigger picture to what they have contributed over the season.
