Another unbeaten game.
The invincible league season is still on track.
But there wasn't many positives to take from last nights game. It was a hard watch after the excitement of the victory over Celtic.
Too many changes seemed to upset the fluidity of the sides usual game plan.
You could also see that Tav was easing himself back from his injury as he wasn't at his marauding best which hampered out attacking threat down the right.
I felt sorry for Itten. Always made himself available to link up play but got no decent service in and around the box. I would actually like to see him get a chance of a start with Kent and Aribo either side of him.
Wright again done himself no harm by constantly looking to get involved and grabbing the goal with a lovely finish.
Simpson looked steady enough at the back and looks as if he just needs games to build up a good understanding with Goldson. Though he has plenty of competition for a starting slot with the reliable Helander and the dependable Balogun in his way.
Onwards to Sunday where our full strength side will be back and should dispatch this St Johnstone side comfortably. 🔴⚪🔵.

MPH I said yesterday it would be a tough game last night and with changes made given some players game time it was always going to be one of them games

I firmly believe we will win at the weekend at least by 3 goals easily mate I’m not worried about it all

Itten unfortunately I’m not sure he will be here next season
Don’t think he’s going to make it with us

can’t wait to summer to see how we go about adding some quality to make us stronger for the new season ahead.

Just don’t see anything about Itten that suggest he’ll make it at Rangers but you can’t fault his effort! Hope I’m wrong tho 🙏🏻 there’s no way he should ever start in front of Alf IMO he’s had opportunities from the start and has never impressed in any of them!

R1 - we don't have another striker like Morelos.
I like Itten and would love to see how he performs in a full strength Rangers side firing on all cylinders.
I don't think Itten has had that so far but it's also up to him to make the most of any first team opportunity whether that's from the bench or starting.
You look at Wright ( who I hadn't seen much off before he came ) and he's always looked good in his cameo appearances and now his 2 starts have also been impressive. Early days but it looks like the management have found another bargain buy.

Not too many changes at all tbese fringe lads should be playing remaining league games. Gaffer even said focus was on the cup hence resting half the side.
