English fans shooting down the idea of a British league. good were Scottish and play in the spl. Setting up a British league is just as bad as it was the esl. can't believe that this was even mentioned. Good few on here are proper hypocrites. stating a couple days ago against the esl then 2 days later wanting to jump ship to a supposed British league. once independence happens then we wouldn't be part of Britain anyhow.

Like it or lump it were a Scottish club with Scottish roots and only became political after Celtic were formed. Yes the 4 were protestants but the club wasn't based as a protestant club. Club was formed for the ship builders of the clyde to play football. Were Scottish as I said like it or lump it that's a fact and we play in the spl. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Agree DD1980. We are a Scottish team and if we join a British league or squirm our way into English football, then we are no better than the esl clubs.

Also tomthumb. The big 6 were ready to jump ship. idealy they wanted there cake and eat it. play in the epl and the esl. The epl stated they may be thrown out if the epl and were still going to jump ship leaving the rest of the teams behind to struggle as without the big 6 it would not have generated the same type of money for the rest. Old firm are supposobly ready to jump ship leaving the rest behind. Hows that diffrent lol. Also my post wasnt a rant but simply stating hard FACTS.

Tt12 your a hyprocyted your own answer. yes Surrey England on your birth certificate. doesn't say British does it as your country of origin so that means your english. Only reason we have a UK passport is the treaty from years back and no hard borders between UK countrys. what country do rangers play in, formed in and represent. It's not a hard question. rangers are Scottish through and through and if ulyou look at the history as I said gers weren't formed as a religious club. That only became a problem after Celtic were formed. just to note how many union Jack's used to fly at gers around the 80s. none. only with the violence in Ireland that this came to light again. think I've proved my point now eh.
