What's everyone's thoughts on the following 3 penalty incidents last night?
Wright - I'm not 100% sure and it was replayed multiple times from different angles. Did it bounce of his thigh and then hit his arm? My son said he thought it was a penalty. But the linesman obviously said something that made the ref change his mind.
Simpson - ball did hit his arm but it was right by his side. No penalty for me.
Simpson - Saints player headed back across goal and was already falling when Simpson came across him. 50/ 50 decision in my eyes. Could have went either way. Was the ref atoning for his earlier decision?

In my day none were penalties. Thought Simpson got caught ball watching then lifted his leg half hearted and that was enough for ref to have a decision. Verdict no penalties for me.

Ref was 100% spot on with all 3 calls

Wright - he was right to give penalty from his view. Linesman done his job and explained what ref couldn't see. Rules state that ref was 100% to overturn

Simpson- spot on as arm was tucked by his side and in a natural postion

Simpson 2- he switches off and fouls the player. Is it soft? Yes but s correct desicion

All iv heard all day is Tic fans talkin nonsense about these desicions. Also months of hearing about rangers players being let off by refs etc

Not a single. peep about golden boy Turnball escaping a blatant red card

Also talking about why Aribo wasnt sent off for pen on Sunday, well becuase the rules state he can't be sent off ( read the rules ), pretty simple but Tims know nothing.

The rule is if a player kicks the ball on to hand or arm it is not a penalty. Thought Simpsons wasn't either and the third was extremely soft. Worst display i've ever seen by the ref. Pulled up for niggly nothing tackles and let off blatant body checks. Booked players on both sides for eff all and missed glaring bookable offences. 0 out of 10.

Good replies all.
Though it just shows what a difficult job referees have as we've all got different opinions or views on each one.
Doesn't excuse the ref, who as Seeker rightly pointed out had a shocker.

The result matched the effort we put in, piss poor. But we are a team and all the players need a run out, still disappointed.
