People seem to think that Rangers are going to rock up and own the EPL.
Here's the gross spend of clubs over 5 years up to 2019:-
City - £820 million
Utd - £610 million
Chelsea - £650 million
Everton - £540 million
Arsenal - £440 million
Liverpool - £470 million
Arsenal and Everton are even competing for titles!
Now nett spend is different with player sales taken into account:-
City - £505 million
Utd - £378 million
Chelsea - £133 million
Everton - £275 million
Arsenal - £249 million
Liverpool - £92 million
Clubs like Newcastle are spending £270 million just to survive!
We'd have a long way to go before we started competing and there is also FFPwto consider.

Rangers if bought before entering epl would be a fraction of the price of an epl team. And our club debt would be wiped out in one season of tv revenue before inevitable businessman want a piece. We would have a head start thinking logically. And if we followed the same strategy of buying the best young with future sales revenue we would catch up in no time. Theirs a reason the big 6 want us now but didn't before. Because the next best thing to playing real n Barcelona is playing the mighty rangers. We would travel long long distances beyond 95% of epl teams 👌💙💙💙💙💙.

Your talking mince, you can’t join or be asked to play in another country unless sanctioned by your FA.
Our FA won’t allow it and neither would the English FA, there are clubs in EFL first division who would object and the current pyramid system in England doesn’t allow for it.
It’s all tosh and media hype .

Think your missing the point, Newcastle is not a brand like the clubs you mention, Rangers and Celtic are international brands like the above with huge growth opportunities. In the right hands they could be in the a similar financial league as the clubs you mention. The EPL is sold all over the world which is why advertisement money is king which is why Brand is King. Newcastle and all other English teams apart from the top few have no global brand attraction at all, like a pair of jeans from Asda. I respect the work you've done with regards to the OP but its more layered than that IMO.
